Terms of use
These terms apply when you use Orbin. They work alongside Apple’s Standard End User License Agreement, which applies to every app from the App Store. If the two conflict on a point, Apple’s agreement controls that point.
Using Orbin
Orbin is for your personal use on your own iPhone with iOS 26 or later. You need to allow Screen Time access for blocking to work. You’re responsible for the choices you make in the app, including which apps you block and how strict you set a session.
Strict modes
Strict modes are optional and chosen by you. Gentle, Committed and Locked make it harder to end a session early, and you pick the level before a session starts.
- Locked mode has no early exit, except an emergency exit that can be used once a month.
- Uninstalling Orbin, or turning off its Screen Time access in Settings, always lifts every block.
- Orbin only restricts the apps and websites you select. Always keep a way to reach emergency services and anyone who depends on you.
Subscriptions and purchases
Orbin has no free tier. It is available through Orbin Plus, which unlocks the full app.
- Yearly: $34.99 a year, with a 7-day free trial for eligible new subscribers.
- Monthly: $6.99 a month, with no free trial.
- Lifetime: a single payment of $59.99 that doesn’t renew.
- Prices are shown in U.S. dollars. Apple shows the price for your country, including taxes, at checkout.
- Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation of purchase, or when the free trial ends. Subscriptions renew automatically unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
- You can manage or cancel a subscription in Settings › your name › Subscriptions. Deleting the app does not cancel it.
- Refunds are handled by Apple. Request one at reportaproblem.apple.com.
Not medical or professional advice
Orbin is a productivity tool. It doesn’t provide medical, psychological or professional advice, and it isn’t a treatment for any condition.
Acceptable use
Don’t reverse engineer, copy or resell Orbin, interfere with its operation, or use it in a way that breaks the law or Apple’s terms.
Ownership
Orbin, its name, design and illustrations belong to us. You get a personal, non-transferable license to use the app. You keep ownership of anything you create in it, such as blocklist names.
Availability and liability
We work to keep Orbin reliable, but blocking depends on Apple’s Screen Time system, which we don’t control. Orbin is provided as is. To the extent the law allows, we’re not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for a block that didn’t apply or ended when you didn’t expect. Nothing here limits rights you have by law as a consumer.
Changes and ending these terms
We may update these terms. If a change matters, we’ll update the date above and tell you in the app. You can stop using Orbin at any time. We may suspend access if you break these terms.
